The Rules of the Road

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DUIINFO.NET — the guides, the portal, and the Motion Bank. Please read them; the first section is the one that matters most.

Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Operated by DUIINFO.NET

Read this first. DUIINFO.NET is not a law firm. Using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship, and nothing here is legal advice. Our templates and guides are informational tools that you adapt and use at your own risk. A DUI charge can affect your liberty, license, and livelihood — serious charges deserve a consultation with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

1. What DUIINFO.NET Is — and Is Not

DUIINFO.NET publishes educational information about DUI law and provides self-help tools: a document portal, deadline calendar, and a Motion Bank of court-formatted templates. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by reading this site, creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or generating a document.

No content on this site is legal advice. Templates are general forms based on commonly raised issues; they are not tailored to your case, your court, or your facts. You are responsible for adapting any template to your situation, verifying that it is accurate and appropriate, and deciding whether to file it. You use all content and tools at your own risk.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We make no promise or guarantee about the outcome of any case, hearing, motion, or negotiation. Courts rule on the facts and law of each case. A template that succeeded in one case may fail in another. Statistics, examples, and strategy discussions on this site describe what is possible, not what will happen in your case.

3. Your Responsibility for Rules and Deadlines

Court rules, filing formats, and deadlines vary by state, county, and even courtroom. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the rules and deadlines that apply in your jurisdiction — including administrative deadlines such as license-suspension hearing requests. Our deadline tools are reminders, not guarantees; missing a deadline can permanently waive your rights.

4. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your password confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Free accounts include research access and limited document storage, plus a 30-day free trial of the Motion Bank.
  • Pro is $39.99 per month and includes full Motion Bank access and unlimited document storage.
  • Attorney is $399 per month plus a per-active-client fee, and includes client management features.

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal in your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not prorate partial months. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. See current details on the pricing page.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically copy site content or templates.
  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or republish templates or other platform content, whether free or paid.
  • Share account credentials or use one account to serve multiple unrelated users.
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to bypass security controls, or access another user’s data.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Generating documents for your own case (or, on an Attorney plan, for your own clients) is exactly what the service is for. Mass reproduction of the template library is not.

7. Intellectual Property

The templates, guides, articles, software, and design of DUIINFO.NET are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content and to generate and file documents for your own matter (or your own clients’ matters on an Attorney plan). You own the case documents you upload and the information you enter; we claim no rights in them beyond what is needed to operate the service.

8. Self-Representation and Attorney Users

Representing yourself (appearing “pro per” or “pro se”) is legal in every U.S. state, and our tools are designed to support self-represented defendants. Using document templates for your own case is not the unauthorized practice of law. We do not, however, prepare documents for you, select strategies for you, or appear for you — those are decisions you make.

Attorneys who use the platform remain solely responsible for their own professional obligations, including competence, supervision, client confidentiality, and independent verification of any template or content they use in practice. The platform is a drafting and organization tool, not a substitute for professional judgment.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content is current, complete, or correct for your jurisdiction, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The law changes; verify everything against current primary sources before relying on it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DUIINFO.NET and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost opportunities, adverse case outcomes, license suspensions, fines, or incarceration — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 10, and 12) will survive.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify registered users by email or a notice in the portal before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of a change means you accept the updated terms.
