This is deliberately narrow. It is for the moment when you are looking at one thing in your report or your paperwork — a reading, a time stamp, a missing form, a line in the officer’s narrative — and you want a lawyer to tell you what it means before you decide what to do.

The narrower the question, the better the answer. “Is the 15-minute observation period documented anywhere in my report?” can be answered. “Do I have a defense?” cannot — that depends on all of the facts, which is what a full consultation is for.

Point at the specific piece of evidence you are worried about, say what you already know about it, and ask one thing. You can paste the relevant passage when you submit.
